The Eastern Tech Mavericks improved to 12 and 2 in softball with their shutout win over Kenwood yesterday. Leading the way for the Mavericks at the plate were Senior Abbie Heagy (2-5, HR, 2 RBI) and Sophomores Kristin Toland (2-5, 3B, 4 RBI) and Lena Wondolowski (2-3, 2B, 3 RBI). Mackenzie Burton, Rilee Fazenbaker, and Olivia Bangs teamed to limit the Blue Birds to 3 hits for the day. The Mavericks host Hereford today and Mt. De Sales on Thursday May 2.
