Fall Sports begin August 12 and it is time to get your body and mind ready! Each week, the ETHS Athletic Department will post at home workouts for you to recondition and prepare for upcoming tryouts. Each of these workouts has been programmed with the intention of being something ANYONE could complete in their own living room – aka without any sort of equipment at hand. We will at times recommend the use of household objects like sofas and chairs, or suggest trying to get outside to run, but for the most part everything is doable in the comfort of your own home. Each workout should take about 30 minutes in total, with the Finisher taking anywhere from 10-20 minutes.
This program lists ALL at home workouts in consecutive order. We suggest going in order, but if whatever reason you need to bounce around, you can use the “Change” day to navigate forward or backward.
Being a purely bodyweight workout program, more experienced athletes may be chomping at the bit to add intensity (aka weight) to their sessions. We have tried to outline what options there are available to you with household items within these workouts themselves that allow for the increase in difficulty.
